Moving Averages

Tells traders if the price level of an asset will continue or reverse its trend based on its previous prices.

Traders usually plot two moving averages of different time periods together: the interactions between the two moving averages offer a trading signal for a change in momentum.

Fibonacci Retracement

Fibonacci Retracement lines can be used to identify points of entry and exit for a trade, as they reflect support and resistance levels. Support levels are price levels where asset prices do not fall below over a period of time due to a convergence of demand.

Conversely, resistance levels are price levels where an uptrend in prices faces resistance.

Relative Strength Indicator

The Relative Strength Indicator (“RSI”) is used as a momentum indicator which measures the magnitude of recent price changes.

The RSI is shown as a line graph on charting applications oscillating between zero and 100, and the derived value can be used to identify trend directions and reversals.

Bollinger Bands

Bollinger Band is made up of three lines based upon the 20 days simple moving average (“SMA”) of a cryptocurrency as well as a pair of lines reflecting a +/- 2 standard deviation points from the SMA.

Moving Average Convergence and Divergence

MACD is a trend-following momentum indicator which shows the relationship between the 12-period and 26-period exponential moving averages (“EMA”) of the cryptocurrency.

On Balance Volume
