Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Source (creatively) and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale
- Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation and issuance
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants and employees
- Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field. Alternatively, lesser qualifications with strong experience in recruitment will also be considered
- At least 3 years of human resource management experience preferred
- Ability to organise skills assessment, case studies, online tests for candidates
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Proficient in MS Excel, data management and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
